Imperialism enslaves foreign countries and its own people. It was for instance with Hitler and it looks like this in America isn't it. It is hard despite efforts to go against its grip on the people.
Non imperialism or few is the answer which easier brings along freedom for your own people.
The presidential candidate in the USA who is serious about freedoms at home and much fewer interference in other countries is Ron Paul.

Suppression and murder supported by the US government and neglected by the EU. Well, mainstream business as usual, isn't it.
Turkey bombarded targets in the Kurdish area in Iraq. The exact spots they got from US satellites. They speak of attacking terrorists but it is said they want to weaken the self-governed Kurdish region. It could be a model for others. Insurgents in the South of Thailand, exactly the Kurdish model in Iraq could be interesting for you. Malaysia is in my eyes not interesting to look at.
