Legislative UPDATE - July 10, 2007

HR.2900 is now scheduled to be voted on in the House on Wednesday, July 11. It is imperative to keep up the pressure in the action steps below so that the bill can be amended to prevent the FDA from obtaining unprecedented regulatory power to remove dietary supplements from the market based on FDA opinion


Immediate Steps:
1. We need to flood the office of Nancy Pelosi with phone calls, urging her to allow debate and amendments on HR 2900 by removing it from the Suspension Calendar (and if its not removed from the suspension calendar urge Pelosi, and all other congressmen to vote NO on this bill).
