The answer on the health nonsense in America could be to nationalize all companies related to health then transform them to foundations as state power usually makes no sense as well as private power in the this sector of society. Or research could only be done by foundations where motivations are monitored and money would be put in as donations or as loans without conditions. Companies could only get licences to sell medicines then. There are probably many ideas.
But those who decide are often on the payroll of Big Pharma.
