In the face of mind reading machines the laws about the protection of intellectual property become obsolete. Those with the machine can steal intellectual property easily and even sell it or is there effective protection against this available? Is the reason the machines and the laws mentioned are not discussed that much to keep up exploitation this way against those who cannot protect themselves?
